Apply to be a ViVID Fellow!The Virtual Video-Based Inquiry for Development of Teachers of Less Commonly Taught Languages (ViVID) Project is now recruiting fellows for the 2023-2024 academic year. Join a cohort of practicing LCTL instructors in reflective teaching and peer mentoring! Did we mention that this is paid?? ViVID Fellows receive a stipend of $100/month for participation in the project. The final amount depends on the NLRC funding for this upcoming year, but we anticipate each fellow will receive $900-1000. Review of applications begins July 15. Find out more on the ViVID page! Webinar for the ACTFL LCTL Special Interest Group (SIG)On June 29th, three NLRC personnel gave a webinar entitled "The National LCTL Resource Center and the ViVID Project" for the ACTFL LCTL special interest group (SIG). The webinar gave a broad overview of the center and then did a deep dive on the ViVID project. The recording is available for any member to watch in the ACTFL LCTL SIG's files! (Remember, if you're a member of ACTFL, you can join as many SIGs as you want!) NLRC News HighlightsWe featured the newly updated page for all of the Language Resource Centers in the USA: nflrc.org. Check out the work that our colleagues are doing across the nation! In June, Felix Kronenberg represented the NLRC at the International Association for Language Learning Technology (IALLT) conference.
