Get ready for the Easter Bunny to arrive by making your very own egg-ceptional Easter basket and then hop to it and join in on our egg-citing hunt in the park.
This is a family event- all ages welcome.

Every-bunny can join in to create beautiful masterpieces in this hands on sand art workshop. For ages 5+

You & Me workshops are creative sessions for a child and their much loved grown-up to work on a special project together. Inspired by favourite animated characters, you will work together to decorate and construct a beautiful clock to display in your home.
TEEN SPACE GLOW UP Thursday 21 April,

Ages 14-18, 3-4pm
Brighten your space! Join us in this workshop for teens to create your very own hanging décor that gets totally lit.
EGG-CELLENT EASTER KIDS READING PACKS Every bunny will love our Egg-Cellent Easter Packs.
Each pack contains 8 picture books carefully selected by our children's librarians, crafts, activities and an egg-citing surprise.

YOUNG WRITERS AWARD 2022Entries are now open for the 2022 Young Writers’ Award, for young people aged 11 to 18 years. Submit a poem or short story for a chance to win prizes totalling over $2000.

CHILDREN'S LIBRARY UPDATEAs of 31 March, the lower ground floor of the library remains closed to visitors due to flood damage.
Items from the Children's and Youth collections are available on the ground floor for borrowing, and library staff can assist with reserving items to be retrieved. There is currently no charge for reserves on these collections.
Additional study tables and seating have been provided on level one.
Work is being done to make these areas safe for visitors as soon as possible and we will continue to provide eNews updates.
