Three Alumni Honored with Penn State's Alumni Fellow Award

Judd Moul, Jane Rigby, and Dean Winslow received the Alumni Fellow Award at a ceremony on Wednesday, September 20. The Alumni Fellow Award is the most prestigious award given by the Penn State Alumni Association. Since 1973, the Alumni Fellow Award has been given to select alumni who, as leaders in their professional fields, are nominated by an academic college and accept an invitation from the President of the University to return to campus to share their expertise with students, faculty, and administrators. Read more about the 2023 recipients, view the award ceremony photos, and watch the awards presentation.

Student Trustee, Lion Ambassador, and Blue & White Society Leader Kevin Schuyler Embraces a Full Schedule

After graduating from high school, Kevin Schuyler couldn’t decide between majoring in science or business. Then he was accepted into the Eberly College of Science B.S./M.B.A. program, which supports the rigorous study of both curricula.

“I didn’t have to sacrifice either interest,” he says.

Schuyler’s focus is biochemistry and statistics; after he earns his biology degree next May, he’ll spend another year on campus to complete his M.B.A. in the Smeal College of Business. Read more.

Penn State Rises to 28 Among Public Universities, 60 Overall in U.S. News Ranking

Penn State ranks 28th among national public universities and 60th overall out of 435 national universities listed in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Colleges” ranking for 2024, released September 18. Penn State also ranks 23rd among Association of American Universities public institutions and is the top-ranked public university in Pennsylvania. Read more.
