The Go Clubs Infrastructure Assistance Grant assists local sport, recreation, arts, culture and community organisations with the development of improved facilities. Need to raise awareness? Have a fundraiser or sign on day? Council provides the opportunity to assist community groups and organisations develop social cohesion and connection in the Cairns Region by offering complimentary stalls at the regular Tanks Markets and Carnival on Collins. Complimentary stalls are offered to not-for-profit organisations with a limited number of stalls available at each market. Clubs in FocusCompleted Go Clubs Infrastructure Grant Projects Half Moon Bay golf club and Leichhardt FC were successful in securing funds through the Go Clubs Infrastructure 2023/24 round. Half Moon Bay funded the procurement and construction of fencing while Leichhardt FC funded the procurement of a storage container for their freehold site.
