With Christmas and the year 2025 just around the corner, the GoNexus team has put together a tailor-made newsletter for you! 📮

Make yourself comfortable by the fire and enjoy a warm cup of tea or hot chocolate as you discover the lastest results and activities from the project.

In this edition, you will find a series of 8 factsheets, each summarising key elements from GoNexus case studies. These include models, tools, solutions, challenges, etc. to shape an effective coordinated governance of the WEFE (Water- Energy- Food- Ecosystem) nexus.

Additionnally, we have included several videos to watch on long winter evenings:

  • a replay of our first webinar on co-constructing WEFE nexus scenarios and stategies for stakeholder engagement in the Tagus-Segura and the Senegal river basins.
  • a series of videos in which the GoNexus partners explain their activities for the final year of the project.

We also have included a poster designed for the EO for Africa Sumposium. Take a look at this comprehensive framework for monitoring and mapping diverse agricultural systems focusing on tracking seasonal irrigation and flood-recession agriculture in the Senegal River valley.

And last but not least, don't forget to mark your calendars for two major GoNexus events: the Winter School 🎓❄ in Valencia and a webinar (in Spanish) on WEFE nexus applied to agriculture.

We hope you will enjoy reading this edition,

Seasons' greetings and see you next year! 🎄🌟
