Product Update: MK-SML - Servo Manual Load Cartoner
AFA developed a new version of its MK-SML to handle both sleeves and cartons on the same cartoner. This flexibility gives end users various options when going to market with their brand. The MK-SML includes all-servo changeover to seamlessly complete carton changeovers in under ten (10) minutes. The MK-SML standard has a 6' loading area and all category three safety features. An Allen Bradley controls system with servo drives, and motors provide consistent operation and easy set-up.
Product Update: MK-IMA - Compact Intermittent Motion Autoload Cartoner
The MK-IMA is a small footprint, fully-automatic cartoner that can handle many applications. This application featured the MK-IMA handling a single-pack cheese carton at 60 ppm. The blocks of cheese come on a single-lane conveyor to the loading area of the system. The cartoner pitches the cheeses and loads them into the carton via a loading funnel. Servo motors and drives on all major actuated components improve trouble-shooting capabilities and operation. Furthermore, the MK-IMA utilizes an Allen Bradley PLC with PanelView 1000 HMI.
Product Update: TR-QCP - Transrector Robotic End Load Case Packer
AFA Systems redesigned its TR-QCP robotic case packer. The case packer now features a smaller footprint and improved case erecting technology. The case packer features a gantry robot case erector and a case shuttling to deliver efficient case erecting. The system can interface with various upstream systems, including cartoners, flow-wrappers, baggers, and fillers. Changeover is straightforward, and servo drives are available for integration on key adjustment points. A heavy-duty frame provides 24/7 operation and long-lasting performance.
