Notice of the 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Women Lawyers Association of New South Wales to be held at the College of Law and via MS Teams at 5.30pm AEST on Tuesday 22 November 2022.

You are receiving this as a current financial Individual Member, Life Member or the noted Official Delegate and/or Main Contact of a current Corporate Member.

Nominations are invited for the following Executive Committee positions:

•              President
•              Vice President
•              Secretary
•              Treasurer
•              Ordinary Committee Members (up to eight may be elected)

I encourage you to nominate yourself or another member for a position on the Executive Committee. We would like to have a good representation of our membership base including those who live outside the Sydney CBD as meetings are held both in-person and via Teams. A Nomination Form is attached for this purpose.

If you are unable to attend in person or via MS Teams I encourage you to vote using the attached Proxy Form. This form must be submitted in writing and received by the Secretary no later than two business days prior to the meeting, that is, by 5.00pm on 18 November 2022. To further assist with administration, I would be grateful if you would submit your Nomination (together with biographical details and an election platform not exceeding 100 words) by 5.00pm on 18 November 2022, and advise Danielle Verde, Secretary, if you will be attending the AGM.
