Matt Britt, CEDRR's New Communications & Marketing Manager

Matt Britt to Manage Communications and Marketing for CEDRR

Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) is pleased to announce that Matt Britt has assumed Communications and Marketing duties effective Monday, March 2.

This change comes as Olivia Bucksbaum departs CEDRR after four years as Communications and Marketing Manager to begin a new opportunity with another Rutland-based nonprofit organization.

“We are grateful for everything that Olivia has done to support CEDRR during her time here. She has been instrumental in sharing the stories that are important here in Rutland County, and we wish her all the best in this next step of her career,” says Shasta Mattino, Interim Executive Director of CEDRR.

Britt joined the CEDRR team in July, 2025 as Community Growth Manager for The Hub CoWorks, a role he will continue alongside these new responsibilities. Prior to working with CEDRR, he spent six years in the Marketing & Business Development department at Heritage Family Credit Union in Rutland. He also worked for nine years on advertising campaigns for more than 150 Broadway shows at New York City-based advertising agency Serino Coyne, and spent over two years with a marketing agency in his hometown of Glens Falls, NY. In his new role, he will manage CEDRR’s day-to-day marketing and communication efforts, including social media, press releases, and newsletters.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to make an even greater impact here, both in supporting CEDRR’s marketing efforts and Rutland County as a whole,” says Britt. “Since moving to Rutland in 2019, I’ve had many chances to see what makes living here so special, and it’s exciting to have the chance to put my professional experience to good use to help our business community and attract new individuals to our region.”

Britt lives in Rutland City with his wife, Candice, and is a graduate of the State University of New York at Geneseo where he studied Theatre with a minor in Communications and Public Relations.
