National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health Standards

The accreditation scheme for the National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health Standards is on-track to launch in November. Find out about the scheme including our assessment framework and details of the policy under which the scheme will operate. See our resource library for implementation guides, fact sheets and tools. The assessment model is based on findings from pilot assessments of services conducted from March to May 2021, and consultation with mental health experts and consumers.

Cultural Safety Training Report - Analysis of national survey results and literature review

The Commission conducted an analysis of cultural safety training delivered by health service organisations. This report contains a detailed analysis of survey results collected from health service organisations. Recommendations to improve cultural safety training delivered by health service organisations for their staff are discussed.

NSQHS Standards Advisory AS22/02: Advice on organisational training requirements for hand hygiene and infection prevention and control

This advisory has been developed to support implementation of Actions 1.20 and 3.02. Providing information on infection prevention and control and hand hygiene training requirements for health service organisations.

NSQHS Standards Advisory AS21/04: Provisional accreditation to the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards for primary and community healthcare services

Provisional accreditation has been expanded to include healthcare services already accredited to the NSQHS Standards wishing to transition to the Primary and Community Healthcare Standards.
