This photograph, taken by Govati Nyirenda on behalf of Climate Challenge Programme Malawi, shows Tereza Matias, a farmer and mother of four living in the Chikwawa district, in southern Malawi. Tereza faces the reality of the climate crisis everyday, and is working with the Climate Challenge Programme Malawi, a Scottish Government initiative helping rural communities in Malawi find innovative solutions to problems caused by climate change to improve access to food and water in her area.
