Keep up-to-date with what's been going on at Highgate Hill House School! Headteacher updateHello all, It has been wonderful to see so many pupils taking up the opportunity to have photos taken with Tempest Photography when they visited the school recently. We really look forward to seeing the results, and hope that you will enjoy these photos for many years to come, looking back on them in years to come with fond memories of HHHS. As we head closer to the Christmas break, I urge you all to be vigilant in your lookout for Covid-19 symptoms amongst pupils and their respective family members, and remind you of the importance of lateral flow tests if you are in any doubt. Positive case are still quite high in our local areas, and I'm sure, like me you would like to enjoy a Covid-free Christmas! Just as a reminder, below is a link to the latest government guidance for households with a possible or confirmed case of Covid-19. In the meantime, stay safe! Warm wishes, Gina Wagland Headteacher Green ToolkitsWe have recently started to introduce 'green toolkits' into our classrooms, with the aim of helping our children to self select particular tools to regulate themselves and their emotions. The idea being that the tools within the toolkit are completely bespoke to each child, made up of ideas or activities which help them to feel better in themselves, calm, relaxed, happy and ok. They are proving to be a really helpful for the staff too, with some pupils even starting to use them without being prompted. Chair updateHello everyone, Hope you are all keeping well. This November, I enjoyed seeing the display that the children had done to mark Remembrance Day – lest we forget. I saw the following post, and it made me think of all of you and what you are doing – so I have copied it here. Thank you all for the support that you continue to offer to our school community and I wish you all the very best.
