We recently announced that A.P. Moller – Maersk has agreed to sell Maersk Training and Maersk H2S Safety Services to OpenGate Capital, an industrial, corporate carve-out specialist.

Certification you can depend on without interruption
Maritime – STCW training covers the mandatory safety, operational, and watchkeeping competencies required of seafarers, and is a legal prerequisite for working on internationally trading vessels. Most certificates are valid for five years. Revalidation requires evidence of continued sea service and completion of approved refresher training before expiry.

Stay ahead of the GWO standards update
Renewables – GWO has introduced updates to eight training standards across its wind energy portfolio, including Basic Safety Training and Advanced Rescue Training. These changes are designed to better reflect industry practices, improve flexibility in training delivery and strengthen the learner experience through more practical, scenario-based training. The grace period ends on 10 September 2026.
Is your ART Refresher booked?
Renewables – Complete your Advanced Rescue Training Refresher (ART-R) before 10 September 2026 to keep your Working at Heights and Manual Handling records valid. After this date, the ART Refresher will no longer renew your Working at Heights and Manual Handling training records. You'll need to attend each module separately – meaning more time and additional cost.
