DOM ANNOUNCEMENTSNow Open: 2024 School of Medicine Engagement Survey Beginning today, Monday, August 5, and continuing until August 26, the SOM, in partnership with Press Ganey, will survey faculty, staff, and postdoctoral fellows on their employee experience. You should have received an email this morning with your unique survey link from Press Ganey <noreply@surveys.pressganey.com>. You may take the survey by clicking the secure link at the bottom of that email, and it should take less than five minutes to complete. All School of Medicine employees will receive the same core questions, regardless of where they work. Physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses will receive additional questions related to their care environment. If there are questions you feel do not apply to you, please feel free to leave them blank or select N/A for not applicable. Responses will remain 100 percent confidential and go directly to Press Ganey. Leadership will be provided with overall scores only if a unit/department has three or more participants, and there will be no way to connect responses to the participants. We sincerely hope you will take a few minutes to share your feedback. Please make your thoughts heard by completing your survey by Monday, August 26. The DOM hopes for 100% participation in this survey! Media Opportunities 101 If the media contacts you for an interview related to your field of expertise, it’s important to loop in a member of the Woodruff Health Sciences Center (WHSC) media team. By doing so, you’ll have support related to interview logistics, briefing sheets, and/or media training. The media relations team strives to ensure you are fully prepared to engage with the media, as well as position Emory as a leader in both health sciences research and clinical work. The WHSC team has pulled together a step-by-step guide outlining the process and timeline of working with them on media requests.
