Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region Cancels 2026 Real Rutland Feud 

The Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) has made the decision to cancel the 2026 Real Rutland Feud. After careful consideration and internal planning discussions, it was determined that CEDRR would be unable to deliver the event at the level of quality and experience that the community, participating teams, and sponsors have come to expect. 

“This was not an easy decision,” said Chrispin White, CEDRR’s Member Services & Events Manager. “The Real Rutland Feud has been a beloved event, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has contributed to its success over the years.” 

The Real Rutland Feud has served as a fundraiser for CEDRR’s Regional Marketing Initiative, Real Rutland. Inspired by the popular television show Family Feud, the live game show brought together ten local businesses and organizations on the Paramount Theatre stage to compete for the Real Rutland Feud Trophy, all while supporting marketing and economic efforts in Rutland County. 

White extended his appreciation to the teams, sponsors, volunteers, and partners who have supported the event over the past seven shows. “We are deeply thankful for your time, energy, and hard work that have been put into this event over the years. Your dedication has made a lasting impact on our community.” 

The ten teams that were scheduled to compete in the 2026 show have been notified and are understanding of this decision. CEDRR is exploring alternative opportunities to recognize and promote these businesses and organizations within the Rutland County community in the year ahead. 

This decision is not related to financial concerns or organizational capacity. CEDRR remains committed to supporting regional marketing efforts and creating meaningful opportunities for community engagement across Rutland County.
