Annual Disclosure Period Begins March 17

COI

The Annual Conflict of Interest Disclosure period begins on March 17, 2025. Disclosures must be submitted by April 15, 2025. Supervisors must complete reviews of disclosures by June 15, 2025.

If you are required to complete and certify an Annual Disclosure, you will receive an email notification from MyDisclosures between March 17 and March 20.

Do not complete your Annual Disclosure until you receive the email notification from MyDisclosures!

Disclosures submitted before March 17, 2025 do not satisfy the 2025 annual disclosure requirement.

Spring Semi-Annual Facility and Lab Space Reviews

As part of the University's commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and regulatory standards in animal research, the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) must inspect, at least once every six months, all animal housing and use sites using The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals as a basis for evaluation.

Next week, members of the IACUC and Animal Research Protections team will begin touring spaces associated with this work.

Prior to the upcoming semiannual reviews, investigators are encouraged to watch the video: "What to Expect When You Are Expecting a Review of Your IACUC-Approved Space & Animal-Related Activities."

In addition, the IACUC maintains a library of training videos to provide guidance on best research practices.

Updated NIH Genomic Data Sharing Policy: Implementation Announcement

In addition, office hours are provided to aid investigators in preparing applications for the Human Use Subcommittee (HUSC), which reviews clinical research studies that involve the use or evaluation of a radiation-emitting drug or device as an experimental intervention.

HUSC applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month to be considered at the meeting on the following week. Office hours are available the week prior to the submission deadline.
