Auditor - Vaccinations

Title: Auditor - Vaccinations

Hours: Flexible   

Location: Sydney with some regional travel required

Duration: Maximum 9 month contract

Service fee: $700 per audit

About the role:

We are seeking an Auditor - Vaccinations to undertake compliance audits, on behalf of NSW Health, of pharmacies and pharmacists providing vaccination services. The Auditor will manage the audit process under direction from and reporting to the Health Professional Councils Authority (HPCA) and the Ministry of Health.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• The conduct of 57 on site pharmacy audits of vaccination services provided by pharmacists
• Reporting requirements
• Undertaking follow up activities including compliance checks

Reasonable costs of travel will be reimbursed.

Ideally you will have the following attributes:

1. Current registration as a pharmacist
2. Previous experience as an auditor or inspector or similar
3. Knowledge of the NSW Health Pharmacist Vaccination Standards and the legislative and regulatory framework for health professionals in Australia.
4. High level written and verbal communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
5. Excellent organisational skills, high level of attention to detail and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
6. Demonstrated capacity to critically analyse issues, outline decision making and provide reports and high level advice.
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
