MAYOR'S CHARITY EVENT
Opportunities for Local Business Support

The Mayor’s Charity Event, The Pink Diamond Gala, will be held on Saturday 12 September 2026 at the Wollondilly Performing Arts Centre.

Wollondilly Shire Council invites you to secure your place at this elegant evening of entertainment, community spirit and fundraising in support of vital local cancer services. All funds raised will support the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre, enhancing care, resources and support programs for women in our community experiencing breast cancer, including ongoing support for the three McGrath Breast Care Nurses assisting Wollondilly families through treatment.

The evening will feature premium dining, entertainment, auctions and raffles, with opportunities for businesses to attend, sponsor, purchase tables or donate prizes.

Free Training

Are you looking to use AI effectively, ethically and productively? SEED-AI (Skills for Education, Employment and Digital AI), delivered by Deakin University, is a free national training program helping SME employees use AI. Through online modules and workshops, participants build confidence, improve efficiency and apply AI to real workplace tasks. Training starts on the 9th of each month.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is seeking feedback from Wollondilly businesses for the Economic Disaster Resilience Assessment (EDRA). The 30-minute survey explores how floods, bushfires and storms impact operations, workforce and supply chains. Insights will help strengthen regional resilience and inform future planning. Complete the survey by 11 July.
