Insurance renewal is essentially a litmus test to a law firm's viability as a going concern, business is business after all and a necessary survival of the fittest has taken hold.

I,Solicitor. Is law safe from automation?
The role of a Solicitor is safe from automation for the next 20 years according to a study by researchers at Oxford University and Deloitte.
Roles requiring employees to exercise judgement, creativity and negotiation skills are at less risk according to the study.
The research put Solicitors the risk of Solicitors being replaced by robots at 3% or “quite unlikely” - just 1% more than Medical Practitioners.
HR practitioners are safe enough at 24% whereas Legal Secretaries on the other hand are considered high risk at 97.6%. Paralegals and Legal Assistants are also in danger at 94%.
And it’s no wonder law forms a big part of the future strategy for accountancy firms...
