Girls in Aviation Day Event
Join us at the airport on Saturday, September 28th, from 1 to 4 pm for Girls in Aviation Day—a FREE event for girls ages 12-18. With hands-on flight simulators, a chance to get up close and personal with real aircraft, and a peek behind the scenes at the airport, it’s sure to get their imaginations soaring! Hosted by The Women in Aviation Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter and MKE.
Mark your calendar for the 12th Annual Spot Landing Contest at Milwaukee’s Timmerman Airport on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM
- Participate: Are you a pilot? Sign up to compete for one of the three top prizes! Go wing-to-wing to showcase your landing skills, aiming to touch down as close as possible to a designated “spot” on the runway. Participation is free, but you must attend the mandatory safety briefing at 10 AM.
- Attend: Just want to watch the fun? Bring your family, your friends, your own chair and your appetite, but leave your wallet at home—attendance and lunch are free!
