Our monthly updates will help keep you informed about the pool redevelopment progress, key milestones, and details about our upcoming state-of-the-art community facility, as we move towards the final stages of construction. 

Project update

Council’s contractor, ICON, is reporting that pool construction is on track for completion by 25 November 2025.

Once the facility is handed over to Council, commissioning and preparation for opening will take up to three months.

Our priority remains delivering a first-class facility that meets the needs of the community, and we’ll continue to keep you updated.

Here’s the latest progress focusing on the Indoor Pool facilities:

• 25m Indoor Pool: 100% of tiling is complete.
• Programme Pool: 95% of tiling is complete, with the spa also nearing completion.
• Sauna Room: Glazing, waterproofing, and tiling are complete. Cedar wood panelling to walls and ceiling is currently being installed.
• Steam Room: Glazing, waterproofing, and tiling are complete. Aluminium sheet ceiling installation is also complete.
• Once sauna finishes are complete, plant fit-out will commence, including installation of the sauna heater and steam generator.
