Outsider Art Fair in Paris

The fifth anniversary edition of the Outsider Art Fair Paris will run from October 19–22, concurrent with Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain. Raw Vision will be among the 35 exhibitors from 22 cities and eight countries. New exhibitors include Donald Ellis Gallery (NY), Outsider Art Museum (Amsterdam) and La Fabuloserie Galerie (Paris). The Curated Space will be a highlight as it pays homage to Daniel Cordier (b. 1920) and his celebrated collection of art brut.

"New Horizons: Self-Taught Art of the 21st Century", curated by Robert Allen and Margaret Day Allen, will feature work by nine artists from the US and one from Norway who make self-taught art in a contemporary style. Artists include Bruce New, J.J. Cromer and The Dapper Bruce Lafitte.

Outside In will host the European Outsider Art Conference 2018. The conference, taking place May 4-6 at Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, will include presentations by artists, practitioners and academics. The programme will also include workshops, tours and the European Outsider Art Association’s General Assembly.
Outside In are looking for proposals for presentations around the theme of The Artist’s Voice. Presentations can take any form; from a PowerPoint to a performance. If you have a proposal that you would like to be considered, please contact the Director of Outside In, Marc Steene at m.steene@pallant.org.uk. The deadline for proposals is 10am on October 30.
