As September unfolds, signalling the arrival of Spring and a shift in weather, a multitude of exciting events took place within our University. Among these, the 3MT finals stood out as a highlight, showcasing the innovative research and compelling narratives crafted by our HDRs. So, congratulations to all of the finalists who worked so hard, delivering amazing results! I would like to remind you that you are all doing a fantastic job as you carve your own path during your higher degree by research journey. I would also like to take this opportunity and mention that a higher degree by research, either PhD or Master of Philosophy, might appear to be challenging at times, or even impossible or as some people describe it, a rollercoaster of emotions, due to various unexpected circumstances; but believe me when I say that most of all is rewarding! My best advice to you if I may, as a very fresh PhD graduate, is to take one step at a time and celebrate all your achievements, no matter how small or big, and regard them as victories. You will all cross the finishing line in the end, and you will climb these stairs shining with pride! And don’t forget you can connect with AGRS on social media by clicking below! Looking forward to connecting with you! Have a lovely day!
