MAZEHUAL MEXICO x NOVELMODELS
NOVELMODELS, the world's first-of-its-kind, BIPOC and women-owned, boutique mother agency connects with MAZEHUAL Mexico, a Mexican brand produced by a family of artisans in Yucatán with connections in Mexico City, Colombia and coming soon to Europe⎯and today, we share our first looks! MAZEHUAL Mexico and NOVELMODELS Agency created a unique opportunity to introduce each other's teams of artisans, novelmodels and creators. This summer was an ideal opportunity to help fan the flames of each other’s creative passions. We know it is are already burning wildly (sometimes raging) within us. So, from the beginning, we all have this in common.
Last summer, in 2023, we met this incredible design team from Mexico while collaborating in New York City with the one and only Mariama Camara, for her ethical fashion show at the UN Headquarters. Led by Mariama Camara's "Design 4 Unity" team, MAZEHUAL Mexico and our agencies were introduced.
Now, it is the time. The heat is on! We have no excuses left as we come together (from around the world and locally) supporting one another, and collectively opening the right doors, pointing us on course to a more Authentic, Ethical, Sustainable, Purposeful and iMPACTFUL (ÆSPi) creative industry.
Soon, we will all begin to realise it: slow fashion (and sustainability at its core) is already at the top of the food chain. Like all things in alignment with Mother Nature, it is simply, yet powerfully patient, allowing fast fashion to slowly devour itself... [Photo by ADRÉNUS]

GIDEON | Art Night Out in Accra
In a special art night out with friends, GIDEON shares his take on "Constellations Part 2: Figures in Webs and Ripples of Space" showing in Accra, Ghana. It's opening debut was on August 1, 2024.
AGENCY: Why did you decide to attend this particular exhibition?
GIDEON: I just love attending exhibitions. That'll be the answer ultimately, but to deliberate a bit more on the question; It's a group exhibition, so you have a variety of artists involved, giving you a peek into what concepts they're trying to share with you. I especially love when they are showing something new before their solo exhibition, or when the art reminds you of other artist's work you've already seen (because some of these artists have already had their solo)
AGENCY: And what about these photos?
GIDEON: The first group shot below is with me and my best friend from childhood (and his mother). It was taken by a random person we asked to photograph us. The others are how the pieces moved me in the moment. [And there's always the selfie moment] :)
AGENCY: Well, thank you for a summary and for this peek into your art night out. Love it!
