These sessions are sure to be popular, and will be available for both HDR and staff early career researchers. If you are a HDR student, make sure to book your place via CaRST Online, as otherwise you won’t be able to claim the sessions for CaRST credit. 3MT Registrations are open One fantastic way to hone your research communication skills, and also obtain CaRST credits in Domain D is to participate in the 3 Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition (5 credits in Domain D, with additional credits for finalists). The 3MT is a skills development activity that challenges Higher Degree by Research students to explain their research project to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes. Registrations are open now, and we have information and preparation sessions coming up soon – see below for the details! Best wishes, Katy Dolman You've got 3 minutes and 1 slide to make an impact with your research. Can you do it? The 3 Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a national competition that challenges Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students to effectively explain their research to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes. Entry is now open to all HDRs, however, only PhD candidates who have successfully passed their Major Review by the date of their first presentation are eligible to reach the final round. For more information, visit the University of Adelaide 3MT website or contact your Faculty Coordinator. Registrations will close 16 June 2023.
