Product Update: CP-IMC - Servo Driven Case Packer
The CP-IMC: Servo Driven Case Packer features a simple infeed system to collate cartons at over 100 cartons per minute. The system features one horizontal and one vertical star wheel turning system. The horizontal star wheel orients the carton correctly from the cartoner, and the vertical star wheel collates the cartons on edge to correctly pack the case. A backup plate traveling with the cartons during vertical upending stabilizes the carton array. A servo-driven pusher loads the case with cartons, and the loading funnel actuates to the case crease line ensuring consistent loading. A Nordson ProBlue adhesive system provides top and bottom closing.
Product Update: VL-ILC - Intermittent Motion Inline Vertical Cartoner
The VL-ILC is a sophisticated piece of equipment that uses an AFA auto-bottom erector to open auto-bottom cartons on the main servo-indexing flighted conveyor. The servo-indexing conveyor will deliver the cartons to the top loading area. Pouches will collate into a collating conveyor at 120 pouches per minute. After, they are stripped out of the servo-pack collating conveyor into a staging area. The pouches are compressed via servo-driven side compressors, and an AFA gantry robot will pick them up and load the carton. On the same frame, the top of the carton is sealed via an AFA tucking mechanism.
