Two major earthquakes shook southern regions of the Philippines last month (Reuters). Pray for affected staff, family members, or men and women served by our local partner, the Center for Community Transformation. Ask for comfort for those grieving, provision for those rebuilding, and peace across the country amid uncertainty and loss.
Praise God for Mery, a mom and Venezuelan refugee in Peru, who found support and financial tools in a savings group. “It is no longer that we feel like slaves to money,” she says. “[Now,] money for us is like a tool.” Watch this video to learn how God’s Word and saving with others helped Mery and her son build a new life in Peru.
