The team at Auckland Bowls would like to wish you all a happy summer holiday! Our clubs have resumed competitions and events, with many busily re-shuffling programmes to accommodate the shortened season. The feedback we've received has been, 'isn't it great to get back on the greens!' Importantly everyone is happy they can meet up with friends and family again. We extend a big thank you to all our members, family and friends who continue to support their clubs and our Auckland Centre. Putting aside the last four months, we've had competitive events, great sportsmanship and clubs continue to deliver terrific hospitality - we look forward to more of the same in the new year. Auckland Centre events close the year with the Bowls3Five 1-5 Year finals on Tuesday 21 December and the Auckland Open 2-4-2 Mixed Pairs on 27-29 December. All the best wishes to all bowlers participating. We have a lot of bowling to pack into 2022 - we cannot wait! For some, it starts with the Summerset National Singles and Pairs in Christchurch on 2-9 January 2022 – good luck bowling to all competitors. Best wishes to you and your families - stay safe and enjoy the rest of 2021. We look forward to seeing you on the greens in 2022.
