Division of Rheumatology Walks for Lupus Awareness

On Saturday, April 27, the Division of Rheumatology and Emory community members participated in the 2024 Walk to End Lupus Now as the Emory Team. The Emory Team has been supporting the lupus community at the LFA Lupus walks for over 10 years. This year, their team was the biggest team, with representation from many areas of our Emory community, including patients, staff, and clinicians from four different divisions, as well as researchers from public health, basic science, clinical trials, and health-related outcomes.

Of special note, the Emory Team was also recognized as the second-highest fundraising team. Amazing job, all!

"Emory Team is proud to be part of the amazing lupus community in Atlanta. We are committed to helping our lupus patients with their medical care, education, the best research possible, and standing by them in their fight." —Arezou Khosroshahi, MD, Associate Professor (Rheumatology)
