Business Leaders Lunch with Justin Giddings: A special thank you to our members, Holiday Inn and Justin Giddings

On Wednesday, September 25th, the Committee for Wyndham hosted a successful Business Leaders Lunch at the Holiday Inn. We extend our sincere gratitude to Justin Giddings, who delivered an insightful and inspiring presentation. Justin shared his career journey and articulated his vision for the AMDA Foundation and the upcoming 2025 Air Show.

Our members thoroughly enjoyed engaging in meaningful discussions with Justin while enjoying canapes and lunch prepared by the Holiday Inn. 

We are honored to have had Justin as our guest speaker and appreciate his willingness to share his experiences with us. 

Additionally, we would like to thank the Holiday Inn for providing a tour of their exceptional facility and for the delicious culinary offerings. 

We also wish to express our gratitude to Lizzy Jacobs for beautifully capturing the day's moments.

Discovering the Ins and Outs of Successful Entrepreneurship with Members, All Green Nursery and Garden and Amol Kasaju

Congratulations to our members All Green Nursery and Garden and Amol Kasaju (Quest Werribee) for their outstanding achievements at the Wyndham Business Awards 2024!

All Green Nursery and Garden was named Wyndham Business of the Year and also received awards for Medium/Large Business and Excellence in Sustainability. CEO Samuel Fragapane shared his deep-rooted connection to Wyndham and credited the supportive community for their success over the past 45 years.

Amol Kasaju, awarded Young Business Person of the Year, reflected on his inspiring journey from housekeeper to leader. He emphasised the importance of teamwork and local connections in achieving success and fostering a positive work environment.

The Gordon is bridging the education gap and striving to achieve a purposeful vision for Wyndham

Leanne and Montana visited The Gordon with the intention to delve into the institutions impact on the Wyndham region. The discussion highlighted the tremendous work The Gordon is doing to accommodate and adapt to Wyndham's educational needs. They're constantly wanting to meet labour shortage demands to benefit local businesses. 

The Gordon's response is clear: "A thriving Wyndham with an educational institution that bridges gaps is our vision." The Gordon's efforts are making a tangible difference in Wyndham and Western Melbourne, creating positive ripples across the community, schools and businesses. Together with the Committee for Wyndham, The Gordon is poised to continue making a significant impact.

Pacific Werribee is dedicated to serving the Wyndham community and plays a significant role in residents' lives. Since its origins as Werribee Plaza in 1985 and the redevelopment in 2017, the center has prioritised community needs, evolving beyond a traditional shopping center. The organisation remains committed to actively listening to its stakeholders to enhance its contributions to the community.

Pacific Werribee is a key employer in the Wyndham region, providing jobs for over 6,000 individuals in various roles, including retail, support services, management, and professional sectors.
