Kia ora e hoa,

With Christmas and New Years coming up, it’s often a time to get together with whānau, reconnect with what's important to us, and look forward to the year ahead.

In that spirit, for this issue for Tiritiri we’re sharing stories from three families working at Corrections - a brother and sister plus their spouses, an aunty and her niece (pictured below), and a grandmother and her grand-daughter.

They each share their unique stories of working together as a family at Corrections - how they ended up at Corrections and their experiences being part of each others' careers.

We’re also sharing a story from Roman, an avid cyclist, who chats to us about how he’s been able to grow his passion for the sport while working as a Senior Corrections Officer.

Wishing you a very merry Christmas, a happy new year and a fantastic 2024.
