Click here Welcome to the Summer Edition of SPARK2024 was expected to be an exceptional year for the UWSP community as we come together to celebrate four decades of successful support for innovators and entrepreneurs on the Park. Barely had festivities started to be captured by our 40th Anniversary webpage, when the quarter transformed into a series of celebrations of company growth, community expansion, community spirit, and new anniversaries. We have celebrated consolidation of global innovation leader BOSCH at iHouse, expansion of electronics giant LG Electronics on site, and the growth of innovators Cryologyx, Moasure, and Lasit Laser UK. Our Blythe Valley Innovation Centre team enabled more business support activities than ever including a female founders programme demonstrating our commitment to equality of opportunity. The Ignite Alumni Network celebrated its 1st birthday at a brilliantly attended network meeting held at Warwick Innovation Centre. To date this network has engaged with 300 businesses and successfully attracted a new sponsor in DFA Law from Northampton. Well attended summer socials saw our community celebrating together and taking time to raise funds for local charities. This shared social conscience is an inspiring feature of the UWSP community epitomised by colleagues from VGC, Moasure, and Raiven AI joining the UWSP team in supporting the Life Ready programme in local schools to inspire students to become future entrepreneurs, innovators, scientists, and engineers. With all of this going on, and two more quarters to go, it really is difficult not to be excited by what the remainder of 2024 will bring!
