S. Korea signs consortium deal with Canada, Italy for nuclear reactor refurbishment in Romania​​​​​​​

South Korea's state-run energy company said Thursday it is taking a step closer to winning a project worth around 2.5 trillion won ($1.87 billion) to refurbish an aging nuclear reactor in Romania's Cernavoda power plant through a consortium with Canadian and Italian firms.

Science Minister discuss Korea-EU research cooperation with Korean scientists in Europe​​​​​​​

The Ministry of Science and ICT of South Korea (Minister LEE Jong-Ho) held a roundtable with Korean researchers from the Netherlands and Belgium, on Wednesday 18 October 2023, hosted by Korea-EU Research Centre (Director General CHO Woo-Hyun).

New Korea-Europe Quantum S&T Cooperation Center held its opening ceremony in Brussels​​​​​​​

Commissioned by Korean government, the Korea-EU Research Centre(KERC) has supported and coordinated the establishment of KE-QSTCC from earlier this year.
