The City invites the community to participate in various free local events and activities across the Coffs Coast, on Gumbaynggirr Country, curated in collaboration with local Elders, artists, schools, and community groups and partners.
Big Bash League returns to Coffs
One of the world’s most prolific batsmen has linked with the Sydney Sixers ahead of confirmation the glamour franchise will once again take a key Big Bash cricket fixture to Coffs Harbour. Save the date - Monday 5 January.
Australian Event Awards
Delivered a standout event on the Coffs Coast over the past year? Nominations are now open for the 2025 Australian Event Awards, recognising exceptional events held between 1st July 2024 and 30th June 2025. Whether it was a major festival or a community-led celebration, this is your chance to gain national recognition and connect with industry leaders at the Awards and Symposium on the Coffs Coast this October. Entries close 28th July.
Finalists Announced: 2025 North Coast Regional Tourism Awards
33 finalists have been named in the 2025 North Coast Tourism Awards, with four local businesses honoured: Aanuka Beach House, Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, Park Beach Hotel Motel (Hoey Moey), and Spare Chef Catering.
The City of Coffs Harbour is also a finalist for a submission based on the Coffs Coast Explorer App & Kiosks project.
Winners will be announced on Thursday 31 July at the North Coast Regional Tourism Awards Symposium & Gala in Byron Bay.
Coffs Harbour Bypass - Project Update June 2025
Tunnelling is progressing well, with major breakthroughs marking significant milestones in the project. Noise wall construction is now underway to help reduce traffic noise for nearby residents. New local road names are also being introduced, helping to connect communities and support the future of local transport.

The City of Coffs Harbour provides a free service for locals to find grants and grant writing tips. Register to be notified of specific grants for your business or organisation.
