Nominations are now open for the 2025 Australian Event Awards, recognising exceptional events held between 1st July 2024 and 30th June 2025. Finalists Announced: 2025 North Coast Regional Tourism Awards33 finalists have been named in the 2025 North Coast Tourism Awards, with four local businesses honoured: Aanuka Beach House, Coffs Coast Wildlife Sanctuary, Park Beach Hotel Motel (Hoey Moey), and Spare Chef Catering. The City of Coffs Harbour is also a finalist for a submission based on the Coffs Coast Explorer App & Kiosks project. ![]() Winners will be announced on Thursday 31 July at the North Coast Regional Tourism Awards Symposium & Gala in Byron Bay. Coffs Harbour Bypass - Project Update June 2025Tunnelling is progressing well, with major breakthroughs marking significant milestones in the project. Noise wall construction is now underway to help reduce traffic noise for nearby residents. New local road names are also being introduced, helping to connect communities and support the future of local transport.
