We have a few events that are in the pipeline: We will be launching our 2024 program which will include our Celebrating the Women in the Judiciary and much more! Date: 21 February 2024; Our guest speaker for the event is Alexandra Grayson, Deputy President of the Fair Work Commission. Alexandra Grayson is a Deputy President in the Fair Work Commission; prior to commencing the role with the FWC Alex was a Principal solicitor at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers leading a strong employment law team which was involved in cornerstone matters. She also was served as a director and chair of Host-Plus, a large superannuation fund for over 10 years and also was a national industrial officer with the Finance Sector Union. Alex has a passion for helping women and women lawyers and served on the Executive Committee of the Women Lawyers Association of NSW for a number of years. Sue-ella Prodonovich has kindly provided WLANSW members with a special offer. Lucy Bingle is running a seminar on LinkedIn. LinkedIn is a platform which is becoming increasingly important for legal professionals. It is something used for head hunting talent, looking up a fellow lawyer to understand their experience. Clients use LinkedIn to review a lawyers experience.
