A message from the

Presiding Member, Education Standards Board (ESB)

The Education Standards Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Benn Gramola to the position of Chief Executive, commencing on 28 April 2025.

Mr Gramola has extensive experience as a senior executive leader across a broad range of regulatory operating environments, including vocational education and training and primary industries. 

He has significant expertise in implementing the principles of risk-based regulation, application of legislation, policy, risk management, change management and strategy.

I would like to thank Acting Chief Executive, Audra Cooper and Acting Registrar, Sean Heffernan, who have served in these roles since December 2024, for their leadership and guidance during this time.  

We welcome Mr Gramola to the Education Standards Board and look forward to working with him.
