Check and update policies to reflect current child safety lawThe Department of Human Services had a provision in place (Work on Application Provision) in the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016, where people could work at a service while their Working With Children Check (WWCC) was being assessed, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This provision has ceased. Please check and update your policies to reflect the current law.
