Last week we were delighted to celebrate the launch of Alumni Connect, Australia’s first alumni network for talented graduates with disability.

The network connects over 2200 alumni who have taken part in our award-winning Stepping Into Internship Program (SIP) over the past 18 years, with employers who want to broaden their recruitment pool.

More the 150 employers and graduates attended our launch event, kindly hosted by IAG. There was a wonderful buzz in the room as guests spent the evening sharing stories and making valuable connections.

Are you our next Top Model?

We are looking for volunteers to participate in an Australian Network on Disability photoshoot!

Currently there is a gap in what stock images are available, with many being inauthentic and misrepresenting people with disability – we want to change that. Our photoshoot will capture a series of images for use across our organisation, that are inclusive, genuine and truly representative of our diverse community. And what better way to do so then by featuring our team members, wonderful students, jobseekers and people from our member organisations!

We will be holding two shoots, one in our Melbourne office and one in our Sydney office.

If you’d like to be involved, please fill out this photoshoot expression of interest survey, or email emilie.vanosschmitt@and.org.au, or phone (02 8270 9216) by close of business Thursday 25 May.
