BAC GivingTuesday is November 28
The BAC is excited to participate in GivingTuesday again this year, when we will come together as a global community for the College's single most impactful day of giving.
In the coming weeks, we'll share more details about unique giving opportunities and incentives, as well as inspiring student stories, updates on our progress, and ways you can make a difference. Follow in Andrew Mitchell's, B.Arch'20, footsteps to experience life in Senegal, Palestine, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Boston, and more over a year's long travel research funded by the John Worthington Ames' Scholarship from Boston Architectural College.

Join us for the 2023 Fall Lecture Series with Rana Amirtahmaseb. Drawing from several global cases, this lecture summarizes different financing and operational models for the revitalization of historic areas worldwide.

Isra Banks, M.Arch'16 has joined Gannett Fleming as Senior Project Architect.
Luis Perez Demorizi, BLA'16, received the Director's Award from the Newton Conservators for his work as Director of Parks & Open Space for the City of Newton, MA.
Anne Marie Garcia, BDS, is the new Director of Client Relations for E4H's Boston office.
Angela Wyrembelski, M.Arch'15 and Christopher Harrison, B.Arch'02 were both promoted to Senior Associate at Quinn Evans.
Chandra Robinson, M.Arch'08, a Principal at LEVER Architecture, will be the keynote speaker at the 2023 ACSA/AIA Intersections Research Conference in Amherst, MA October 19-21.
Junko Yamamoto, B.Arch'12, had a successful installation this past summer in Japan for Nakanojo Biennale.
Jim Kukla, B.Arch'87, is receiving The Lord's Place 2023 Ending Homelessness Award for his unwavering commitment and exceptional contributions.

Alumni Spotlight
The BAC Online Master of Architecture degree gave Haydée Hernandez, M.Arch'23, the chance to make her dream a graspable reality. Instead of having to relocate her daughter and pay for rent in a new city, Haydée was able to study from home on Zoom and keep up a freelance job redesigning floorplans in between classes and parenting.

Portfolio Preparation Workshop

Students practice their presentation skills with design professionals in a pin up session in Cascieri Hall. This is a great way to help students by providing feedback on their work.
CityX Networking

The Practice Department is holding a "Networking Night" for first semester bachelor and master students. This session will give students the opportunity to meet practicing design professionals and ask questions about professional development.
