Keeping your organisation’s information safe is more important than ever. The ADIA ISO 27001 Certification Program helps member organisations put the ISO 27001 Standard in place and meet new information security requirements for the research, data and insights industry.

This heavily subsidised program - exclusive to members - is the only clear pathway designed specifically for our industry. Participating in this program, which prepares your organisation for certification to the ISO 27001 Standard, will help you manage your cyber security risk and demonstrate your commitment to data protection.

The ISO 20252 Standard supports best practice for research, data and insights businesses, covering everything from project design and data collection to processing and reporting.

As an ADIA member, you have access to exclusive resources, templates, and guidance to help you implement and maintain compliance with the standard. These materials are designed to make certification more achievable, whether you’re seeking initial compliance or updating your quality framework.

ISO 20252:2026 Update - To prepare for the new ISO 20252:2026 Standard, ADIA is establishing an expert research group to develop guidelines with support from the ADIA QA Committee. These guidelines will assist members and guide ADIA's preferred Australian ISO certifiers in addressing AI, synthetic data, and respondents during audits. ADIA will also provide new training and resources, which will be exclusive to members and free of charge, to support a smooth transition to the revised Standard. Materials will be available through the Academy. Further updates will follow.

Learning through the ADIA Academy - The ADIA Academy offers a range of practical online courses to support your organisation’s journey towards ISO certification and continuous improvement. Courses include topics on quality management, information security, governance, and data privacy, aligned to ISO 20252 and ISO 27001 principles.
