Welcome to Our New Member

The Green Mountain Classic is Vermont’s premier fall golf event, bringing players from across New England together for a one-of-a-kind tournament at Rutland Country Club. Set against peak foliage, the Classic features multiple scramble formats from 9, 18 and 27 holes, team competition, on-course challenges, and an atmosphere that blends spirited play with the beauty of Vermont’s fall season. Now in its third year, the event has grown into a can’t-miss weekend for golfers looking for both competition and community.

New in 2025, the weekend expands with a Saturday Golf Expo and Par 3 Best Ball. Hosted at Stonehedge Indoor Golf, the Expo gives players and fans the chance to demo clubs, connect with sponsors, and enjoy a vibrant golf-lifestyle showcase. That morning, golfers can also test their short-game skills in a fast-paced Par 3 Best Ball tournament—making the Classic more than just a single day of play, but a full celebration of the game.
