The Fox School deans welcome you to campus! To help you get acclimated to your student’s new home, use this “At-a-Glance” Guide to connect with the campus community. Start the self-guided tour off with a personal welcome (and cup of coffee) at the Fox School Dean’s Office (Monday, Aug. 15 - Wednesday, Aug 17., 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.) on the third floor of Alter Hall. Afterwards, explore career services, where your student can get writing and grammar support, academic resources, wellness and health services and more! Get started.

Head shots and social media presence: Tuesday, Aug. 16
- Your student can have a professional head shot taken between 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. – Alter Hall Lower Level.
- Then they can use their new head shot in their social accounts and learn from Fox Marketing-Communications experts about managing their professional online presence in the workshop "Social Media: From Fresh to ProFresh!" from 12:00-1:00 p.m. – Alter Hall Auditorium.

Your student can get ahead of the curve and invest in preparing themselves for the recruiting process using the Fox School personalized in-person and virtual careers services and 'tech tools'. These expensive subscription-based platforms are offered free to Fox students. Explore.
Dream Big Block Party
The Fox School Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD) kicks off the semester with games, food, and prizes! Your student can get to know the CSPD, enjoy a taste of Philly, and learn how to utilize their career services. Give your student a reminder and let them know it's on Thursday, Aug. 18 in Alter Hall Egg from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

How to access Fox career services
The Fox Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD) is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in Alter Hall, room 134.
Students can make both virtual and in-person appointments with CSPD staff members to discuss their job search, review their resume, prepare for interviews & more.
In addition to offering 1:1 coaching appointments and networking events, CSPD utilizes the popular Handshake platform to promote hundreds of internships and job leads from employers looking to hire Fox School students and graduates.
CAMPUS SHUTTLE TRANSPORTATION
Temple relaunches Flight shuttle as a fixed-route service
The new nighttime shuttle loop service will optimize the Flight experience and also improve campus safety. The Flight service will pick up and drop off passengers at more than 40 stops located at nearly every intersection within Campus Safety Services’ patrol zone. The stops are identified by signs like the one pictured here. The shuttles arrive approximately every 15 minutes at each stop, and you can track the locations of each shuttle in real time. Learn.
