Stone walls and hedges help define a series of outdoor spaces, each with their own character and utility, including a parterre framed by olive trees, a lush herb and flower garden, and a central reception space complete with koi pond and fountain. An elongated pool and stone-formed seat wall extend along the house’s central axis and anchor the backyard amongst the pines. Formal plantings provide structure and continuity, while a combination of travertine, corten or weathered steel and cypress wood give the property its unique sense of rustic elegance.
