Dear Friend,

Self-care, self-kindness and mental wellbeing are all hot topics at the moment, and rightly so. Looking after ourselves and our mental health is extremely important, and even more so when going through the stress and strain of bereavement.

Finding support and connecting with others can be a valuable way to look after yourself and your mental wellbeing. Human connection is so important.

In this month’s newsletter, we explore:

  • Why it is important to put on your oxygen mask first
  • Grief advocate Megan Devine talking about self-kindness in grief
  • Articles relating to self-care and mental health
  • Links to further grief support and organisations

So, relax, take time for yourself and have a good read.

Kind regards,

Danielle Patton
Widowed Young Support Coordinator
