In THIS ISSUE

We’ve all been there. Those days when you get to the office with a long ‘to do’ list only to find the day zooms past and you’ve only achieved a fraction of what you wanted to.

All is not lost according to a recent article in the Harvard Business Review. The trick is to practise mindfulness and to train your brain to focus better.

Mindful working means applying focus and awareness to everything you do from the moment you enter the office. Focus on the task at hand and don’t be sidetracked by low priority emails or social media. Part of being focused is recognising those pesky distractions and not allowing them to seduce you from your work priorities.

This month we’ve been looking at how technology can help save valuable time and money by changing the way we work, improving our productivity and ultimately making our working lives easier.

As business owners, it’s vital we stay sharp and focused to ensure we make the right decisions for our business and maintain the highest possible standards of quality and service.

Being ‘mindful’ throughout the day and using the online tools and apps we have at our disposal can go a long way to making our businesses and our lives better.

I hope you enjoy our newsletter - as always we welcome your thoughts and feedback.
