The Dark Web is where Cyber Criminals sell stolen personal information and data that they obtain through data breaches of 3rd party sites. The Dark Web is also an area of the World Wide Web which is intentionally hidden and inaccessible with standard web browsers and cannot be found by conventional search engines making it very difficult to track down the cyber criminals. Here it gets scary… Last week I attended a security conference and had the chance to demo a new security tool which can search the Dark Web to look for stolen user credentials.
