Participant Briefing

Thank you to everyone who attended the Pride March Participants Briefing last night, whether in person - or online.
We know it isn't the most exciting way to spend your Tuesday evening, so I hope that people found it valuable.

If you couldn't make it last night, or if you wanted to review the presentation, you can find the video of the briefing here.

If you have any questions about the briefing, please get in touch via admin@midsumma.org.au.

Check this section
of the Midsumma Festival website for more information about the Participants Briefing.

Yes! Simply contact ticketing@midsumma.org.au with the updated names and contact details of your tickets and we will make these changes on your behalf.

Midsumma Pride March - Livestream

As you may be aware, this year Midsumma Festival is creating a dedicated livestream for Pride March to allow our audiences to safely engage with the event.

We've been posting about it online and we'd love you to post about it on your own socials! You can download this image tile here, and we've drafted the below text for you to use if you wish.

"Where can I watch Midsumma Pride March 2021?

Things will look pretty different this year due to COVID-19 regulations, so we are encouraging audiences to attend/view the march in one of the following ways:

- Book into a Fitzroy St venue to watch the parade from 11am, and stay all day for the ocean breeze, sunset, and afternoon vibes in iconic St Kilda. Where can you book?  midsumma.org.au/view-the-march

- Watch the parade at a Watch Party in participating venues around the state. These will be updated throughout the week! midsumma.org.au/watch-party

- Watch the parade from your home - even throw your own Watch Party! Midsumma Pride March will be live-streamed (via our Facebook page) for the first time. The stream will begin at approximately 10:45am and conclude at approximately 2pm.

This year due to COVID and our COVIDSafe plan we unfortunately can't encourage crowds to watch the march form the street sidelines, you can only watch from Fitzroy St if you are booked into a venue along Fitzroy St (midsumma.org.au/view-the-march) or if you log into our livestream via the @midsumma Facebook page from 10:45am.

Midsumma Pride March will operate in accordance with the Victorian Government COVIDSafe guidance to make sure we are doing our part to be COVIDSafe.

Happy Midsumma Pride March!!!"
