Juggling professional, personal, and caretaking demands can leave even the most energetic and creative staff exhausted. That’s why we continue to focus on building a strong and supportive work culture at Root Cause. From flexible work schedules to No Meeting Fridays, we are trying to build an organization where we trust and enable each person to do what they need to, and we provide support to each other whenever help is needed. We’re learning a lot about what works along the way and want to share it with our community. PODCAST: A Conversation with Colette StanzlerComing from a career in the corporate world, Colette Stanzler joined Root Cause in 2006 to apply her business skills to the social sector. She's witnessed its changes and growth throughout the years; but more importantly, she's been at the forefront of strengthening the sector’s performance measurement and Collective Action. As the lead on such projects as MHSA Pay for Success Housing Initiative, Boston Workforce Investment Network (WINs), and NH Tillotson Fund Strategic Planning, she's seen what intentional philanthropic investment can do for nonprofits, direct service providers, and communities.
