Whistler Blackcomb Updates

May 21 - June 14, Spring operations with sightseeing daily on the Blackcomb Gondola and access to the Blackcomb Alpine only.

June 15 - September 22, Summer operations with sightseeing daily in a one-way loop from the Upper Village up the Blackcomb Gondola, across the PEAK 2 PEAK and down the Whistler Village Gondola. Sightsee tickets provide access to the Summer Alpine Experience with two mountains, 50+ km of hiking trails, vistas that overload the senses, and an ever changing landscape from early summer snow walls to blooming wildflowers to ancient glaciers.

Whistler Mountain Bike Park opens for the season on May 17th for its 25 year of operations. The newly upgraded Fitzsimmons Express will provide an increased capacity of five riders and five bikes per chair, and will be an absolute game-changer for accessing the popular Fitz Zone this summer. whistlerblackcomb.com

Whistler Flights are Back!
The most spectacular scenic flight returns May 1 with direct flights between downtown Vancouver and Whistler. Plus, Harbour Air is adding more ways to get to Whistler this year with direct Whistler flights between Victoria and Richmond (YVR South)!

Alpine Half Day Adventure: Ascend to the summit of the Blackcomb Gondola and begin your four hour journey on this breathtaking alpine hike. Lakeside Loop, nestled amidst glaciers and snow-capped peaks, offers a magnificent trek through meadows of wildflowers, culminating at a serene alpine lake. As an intermediate-level trail, Lakeside Loop promises the ultimate hiking adventure on Blackcomb Mountain. After your hike, traverse to Whistler Mountain via the awe-inspiring PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola, then descend via the Whistler Gondola back to the Village.
Green Lake Adventure Paddle: Start your three hour adventure by paddling the last section of the River of Golden Dreams – a beautifully quiet portion of the river with gentle flowing water. Next, glide onto the mesmerizing turquoise waters of Green Lake. Paddle across this stunning glacial lake to the Parkhurst site, known as Whistler’s Ghost Town. Disembark and explore this forgotten relic of the past, adorned with graffiti, nestled in the woods along Green Lake's edge. The Green Lake Adventure Paddle offers a wonderful alternative to our River of Golden Dreams tour when river levels are low in late summer. Special Exhibitions at the Audain Art Museum
Otherwise Disregarded - On display until September 9. This Special Capture Photography Exhibition showcases four artists using art to explore social, political, and environmental issues, prompting viewers to reflect on the world’s current state and advocate for justice and sustainabilit.
Tom Thomson: North Star - On display from June 29 to October 14. A ground-breaking exhibition organized by the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, offering a fresh perspective on Thomson's legacy through his en plein air oil sketches, curated by Ian Dejardin and Sarah Milroy, with contributions from leading art historians and contemporary Canadian artists.
New: Architectural Tours
