We have added a new face to the Black Canvas family - welcome Lindsey! She hails from Manchester and comes with a wonderfully impressive portfolio and a bonny Mancunian accent { words we like getting Lindsey to say - Amanda, toast, bacon, thumb - just to name a few! }. For example 'Lindsey Speak' for "You have to laugh" is "Eeeyafflaff"; or "I’ll see you tomorrow morning" is "Ahl sithi tmor morn"... keh?
We love having her in the Black Canvas fam!

Troy's passion and energy is contagious, and his philosophy is all about getting the work / life balance right - to get the most out of life.

Following the advice of Troy Morgan { above } we have been working on restoring our own work / life balance... small daily choices make for a happy, healthy home and workplace :) 

CHOICE 1. We have swapped the bikkie barrel for a fruit bowl. Which a) gives a healthy alternative to ward off those afternoon munchies and b) adds colour to the Black Canvas lounge. Yes, we have a lounge - do drop by for a lie down if you ever feel the urge!

CHOICE 2. We have also been enjoying the pleasures of our in-house masseuse! { Read on for the details... }

Ohh those strong man-fingers! We have been working on branding for Lyle Lucht Massage Therapy, so in the name of research - Lyle kindly bought in his seated massage chair for us all to have a quick spot of relaxation. We can sincerely testify that Lyle Lucht is an A-MAZING massage therapist. WOW! You don’t realize the effect sitting at the computer all day can have on your back and shoulders. We have now booked him up for regular visits to our studio and are counting down the days till the next appointment!

We can highly recommend Lyle to come and work his magic at your workplace!

No, we are no longer in grade two, but yes, we do practice the long-forgotten tradition of show-and-tell. Every second week, we take time out of our busy schedule to feast on morning tea { just to balance out all that fruit we've been eating! }, and share interesting things that we find out there on the streets. For us this is a source of inspiration, and helps us keep up-to-date with trends, styles and cool bits and pieces. The fellas from Indigo Web join us and bring along cool sites and code.

Congratulations on the appointment of John Gouldson as Councillor in the recent Toowoomba Regional Council elections! It was an honour to assist John in his campaign with the visuals, they were bright and eye-catching, and stood out from the masses of corflutes on the side of the road. Congratulations Mr Gouldson, we know you'll serve the Toowoomba area well!

We have recently had the privilege to work with Jason on rebranding his Psychology business - Renew Psychology & Rehabilitation - right from the logo, through to stationery and website. What a transformation a fresh brand can make!
