Updates to the Crofton House Alumnae Program

As we settle into a new school year at Crofton House School, the campus is buzzing with excitement and activity! Our Alumnae Relations team has been hard at work throughout the summer, collaborating with the School and the CHS Alumnae Association to enhance our alumnae program.

Crofton House School alumnae continue to express an interest in activities that resonate with meaning and purpose—the desire to support students, interact with fellow alumnae and participate in school events are some areas we focus on. We’re thrilled to continue hosting alumnae on campus, recognizing the importance of these opportunities to come together. We will be expanding our signature events, such as the annual School Birthday and the field hockey match, to create more space for alumnae to connect with the School, the students and among themselves.

Join us in creating memorable experiences that strengthen our community and support our future CHS alumnae!

The CHS Work Experience Program

We invite you to participate in the Work Experience Program, which bridges academic life and the professional world for Grades 11 and 12 students.

The Work Experience Program is a key part of the strategic plan priorities of Purposeful Learning and Meaningful Partnerships. Alumnae have consistently been essential to the program’s success.

This year we have more students eager to participate than current work experience opportunities and would love to see more alumnae involved. Please consider participating if you or someone you know may be able to offer an opportunity to a CHS student.

Interested in getting involved? Complete the program’s interest form, and a Work Experience Program team member will contact you.

Alumnae News

Senior Kindergarten’s Special Alumnae Storytime

On Tuesday, October 8, the Senior Kindergarten classes were treated to an alumnae visit with co-authors Hannah Zisman ’05 and her husband, Conor McGlauflin, reading their recently published picture book, Think a Thought. The book is filled with words of affirmation to guide readers in creating their own ‘calm kingdom.’ It is always a special moment when students can learn and interact with our alumnae!

Condolences

With sadness, we announce the passing of alumna Evelyn Louise Quigley (nee Smith) MacLachlan ’35. Evelyn lived a long and full life and will be remembered by her children. You can read more about Evelyn online.
